Business Intelligence Developer
Client: Major Financial Institution
Length: 6 Months Contract
•Knowledge of Data Warehouse design, various ETL application SQL and SQL Server 2008 R2/2012, SSIS, SSAS, .NET Apps.
•10+ years experience in Database/SQL skills in one or more popular database technologies preferably SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle.
•5-7 Years Experience with ETL technology with Data-warehouse specific skill set.
•Analysis and Design skills with verbal and written communication skills with strong analytical, problem-solving, collaborative skills
•Solid written and verbal communication skills with technical and business writing skills. Create SRS/SDS and Architectural artifacts required during SDLC life cycle.
•Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interface with customers, team members, and other colleagues.

•Translating business requirements into SRS and SDS to develop database design and ETL processes.
•Gather & identify business data requirements from business partners across the business, understand the information needs and translate those data requirements into conceptual, logical and physical database models. Involve in design of the database models will include creation of various stages and specific marts.
•Work with Enterprise Solution Architects and Project Team leads to design the data repository for complex processes and interfaces.
•Analyze Source Systems and perform complex Source data analysis to support ad-hoc and standing reporting development
•Experience in designing Operational databases, analytical data warehouses, and specific data marts designed to support operational and transformation layers
•Maintain and enhance data model for the ETL Layer and Dataware house. Perform system analysis, design, programming, testing, and walkthroughs following SDLC methodology and adhering to bank technology standards •Produce test plans/scripts and perform test execution using available/appropriate tools
•Utilize the system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodology (PMLC) to create, review and complete required project documentation
•Contribute to team success by meeting key project milestones and overall project deliverables on time and within budget, while adhering to development and quality standards
•Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and with our technology partners
